“N O W H E R E”
a new exhibit by Jennifer J. Lee
Jennifer J Lee is an artist based in Brooklyn working primarily in paint and drawing. She considers herself to be an observational internet painter, mining images from various websites, google image searches, books and other miscellaneous image sources. The pictures she uses to paint from are intuitively culled but loosely chosen for their strange connotations. Lee’s paintings and drawings endeavor to transform these images into something more corporeal. Calling attention to something that might be missed from an ordinariness of an image.
Opening: Friday, November 16th, 7-9pm
Closing: Saturday, January 12th, 7-9pm
